Why Our Patients Love Us

FAQ

Have you got a question? We have an answer!

Is going to the dentist that important?

Yes, visiting the dentist regularly is essential for oral and overall health. When you care for your teeth, you care for the rest of your body. As dental professionals, we’re trained to see the early signs of other issues like oral cancers and diabetes. Taking care of your teeth matters, so find a dentist you trust.

Who Can Be Held Liable in a Slip and Fall Case?

It depends on why you’re visiting the dentist in the first place. A check-up and cleaning won’t cost as much as a root canal or Invisalign. We advise calling our office beforehand to check prices or check out this link to view all of our prices.

Are there specific types of dentists?

Yes, there are. There are specialty dentists for things like pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, geriatric dentistry, and periodontal dentistry specializing in gums. At Toothcrew, we are experts in general, children’s, emergency and cosmetic dentistry.

How often should I see a dentist?

We recommend seeing us every six months to maintain your oral health. If you have certain conditions like gum disease or decay, we recommend you come in more often. Visiting us every six months keeps your mouth healthy and allows us to monitor your oral health to provide intervention on any dental issues.

Is it normal to be anxious about the dentist?

It is. There is no shame in being anxious about a dental visit. We understand you may not like the sounds and feelings or you’ve had a bad experience. At our office, our team is compassionate and caring. They understand the anxiety around a dental visit and are happy to go at your pace. Our team can walk you through what will happen during your cleaning or procedure. We also offer sedation dentistry.

Will my insurance cover a dental visit?

We accept most insurance providers, and most insurance will cover a dental visit but not the entire cost. It’s best to check with your insurance provider to see how much they will cover for a dental visit or procedure. We can work with you to finance any money that isn’t covered by insurance if you need it.
